Aureto  Ventoux "Maestrale" 2013 -  90 pts

"Also outstanding, the 2013 Ventoux Maestrale is 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache that was aged in a combination of new, one- and two-year-old barrels. It's ruby/opaque color is followed by notions of black pepper, blackberries, licorice and smoked earth. These flow to a medium-bodied, fresh, elegant Ventoux that has lots of fine tannin and plenty of class." - Jeb Dunnuck (, Issue #223 March 2016)

Aureto  Ventoux "Autan" Rouge 2013 -  90 pts

"More plush, sexy and rounded than the fresher, more focused Maestrale bottling, the 2013 Ventouc Autan is an outstanding blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that spent eight months in stainless steel. It offers amply kirsch and black cherry fruits intermixed with notions of Provencal herbs, chocolate and licorice. This gives way to a medium to full-bodied, pure, elegant wine that has good mid-palate depth and fine tannin. This was my first time tasting the wines from this estate and I came away impressed." - Jeb Dunnuck (, Issue #223 March 2016)
