From our LOIRE assortment, guess who could be selected within this higly expected Wine ADVOCATE Issue about the WORLD's GREATEST WINE VALUES under $25...

"Jerome & Luc CHOBLET have not missed a beat in 2007, fielding another collection of infectiously delicious and superb value wines"

Et voila!...

3 Cuvees are rated as follows:

* The 2007 Mucadet Cotes de GrandLieu CLOS de la FINE - 91pts: from old vines in schistic and amphibolitic soils reminiscent of Austria's Wachau - offers scents and flavors of white peach, lime and salt. Succulent yet bright and positively gripping, it delivers tactile tingle and zest that add up to invigoration and refreshment, along with almost ineffable but undeniable notes of minerality. This beauty will continue to offer thrills for the next 2-3 years, if not beyond.

* The 2007 Mucadet Cotes de GrandLieu Chateau de LORIERE - 89pts: from weathered schist and granite soil - offers lime, pineapple, pear, and a greenhouse-like amalgam of shrubbery and flowers in the nose. Softer on the palate than their "classic" bottling, it finishes with juicy generosity and a lick of salt.

* The 2007 Mucadet Cotes de GrandLieu Domaine des HERBAUGES Classic - 88pts: smells and tastes like of fresh apple and grapefruit with hints of oyster shell and sea spray. At once luscious and bright, it introduces a lovely, deep scallop-like savory sweetness in its finish reminiscent of Chablis.
